Love Has Yet To Knock

What good is love if it can’t give you wings
To soar above the spheres
In the fear of being broken?

What good is love if it can’t make you see
That beauty you are carrying
In the blindness of others?

What good is love if it can’t give your heart
A madness of being free
Which mortals have forsaken?

What good is love if it can’t let you be
The image of your dreams
For the wages of security?

Wait my darling! Wait for a while.
Love has yet to knock.
